FREEZING!!!

A customer of mine told me today that her Triton Extreme is randomly freezing, and not allowing program changes or other input functions to be made. I told her that this sounded like a firmware issue, and that hopefully there would be something that one of you guys could do. Maybe a CD, something.
Any thoughts? Thanks so much!

Mine just started doing this as well....I installed MOSS like a month ago, this morning when I turned it on it seemed to work but wouldn't play.
Now when I boot up it is basically frozen on the moss program bank, but if I try to switch modes it might actually do something in a few minutes.....then freezes totally.
I reloaded all the program and combi data last night, it worked fine, power cycled and everything, now this morning this problem.
What should I do? Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?
Thanks,
Pablo
update:
I uninstalled MOSS....now it boots up and is not frozen, I reloaded PCM and song data, no freezing now, but no sound either.....the most I get is some harsh clicks out of certain programs (i'm testing both both the outputs and headphone jack)
any ideas? Did this thing just die on me? AGGGGHHHH!!!!
update again:
it doesn't freeze but delays and takes a few minutes when I change to SEQ or S.PLAY, or do anything in those modes. I can otherwise switch between modes and scroll programs, menus, etc....still no sound but clicks and pops
. I've reset using the enter 0 thing no dice......I don't have the original CD, is that necessary to reload the OS? Looking at some past threads here it seems my DSP might be hosed? I'm off to buy a spdif cable to test this......

Disconnect
Pedels
Remove CF Card also
Try and if not freezing
Then Powercycle by adding one by one.
And tou will find the problem why is it.
Some time EX also freezes if it is in cold weather or just below the AC air flow.

Hi there!
Which OS version are you using?
Would reinstall the OS solve the problem?

I have the same scenario from time to time but say once a week or once per 2 weeks.

Mine will do this at times also, though not as often as some have stated
Jay - ever resolve the issue?
