Midi recording in cubase studio 4

I have cubase studio 4 running on Vista on desktop. I connected TR to usb of desktop. I have installed korg TR drivers for VISTA. How can i do midi recording. i checked the manual but did not understand it. I added midi track in cubase and it showed TR. But i could not record anything? Please help me out. Also would be thankful if anyone can point me midi recording videos or tutorials.
