Hello Jürgen,

if you make this analogy you´ve to list the + and the - points

and a big minus point are the missing EXB-Slots - so all PA1X Users with EXB-Board have no possibility to change to PA2X cause Korg cut them.

Analogy PA800 and PA2X
All PA800 User have the same Technology like PA2X (nearly)

So - if we look at this "news" - we have to do it totally and not only from the sight of the comany.

For me it´s not a replacement for PA1X (cause the missing EXB-places) - it´s a bigger brother of PA800 (cause 1:1 same features).

and even the PA800 has a lot lot lot a lot lot lot more features than the PA1X :)

(but no EXB-Boards, right, but as I see, it is the only " - ")

Hi
i just wanna ask if anybody has any ide about pa2x? not PRO!!..
i dont need 76 keys..61 is enough cause i dont use it in the studio...pa1x's size is fine for me to take it with me when i will play out..and i dont have problem to take it in my car but...pa2x pro?? 76keys??!!! i'm not so happy for that...and if it has the same featuers as pa 800 so why should we buy pa2x pro while all know that it will be much more expensive than pa800!!

Hi,

this Pa1X <--> Pa2X comparison chart looks good enough for me. Thanks for sharing this list Sartorius, very informative.

I've tried also the Pa800 (from which the Pa2X clearly derived) and there is enough difference to move from Pa1X to Pa2X (I like the 76 keys and the sturdy construction btw).

The missing EXB slots (big problem for some) is not a problem for me, especially now that the piano, electric piano, clavinet and organ sounds (like in Pa800) seems addressed. In the need of some additional sounds I can load them, as happened with Pa1X, I can live with it.
IMHO I think that Detlef is pushing a lot this feature also because he is selling EXB, so it's not 100% out of the business in this case (no fight wittid, just my opinion).

Best Regards.

first - i´m not selling EXBs

i´m only using EXB´s and it´s my own interest to have the fitting slots for the boards.

wittid i asked korg in my country that i want to change my pa1x to pa800..so the answer was PA800 IS NOT BETTER THAN YOUR KEYBOARD..they told me that pa1x is still better..and as i know that pa800 is just an updat of pa80..not pa1x...dont you think?

i think korg play with us! it should be much better keyboard with more features in it..i still think that pa1x is better than pa 800..and you showed me that there are not different between pa800 and pa2x pro so i really dont understand that well...
