self test problem

have a korg technician here, Ihave a korg triton extreme
the self test 12 Data Latch NG the machine can power up but no sound
anyone help much appreciated

Could you be more specific?
self test 12 Data Latch NG
What is this, some message that writes on screen during boot up?
Did you try reseting Extreme?
Boot up holding 0 and Enter to erase everything first, then reload all preset data, PCG, KSC, SNG (I mean the factory data).
That is how you initialize your TEX.

Not sure if you're encountering same problem as I did, but I had to set the correct keyboard type first after doing a factory reset before I could produce any sound. See
