.......that Korg doesn't cover the screen once it leaves the store. This doesn't sound right. Of course GC will sell you an extra year of warranty for $200.00. This is equal to criminal activity and they are basically lying to people.

I decided to check with Paul Morte Repair Services Center, he was not there today.

So, I called Korg usa product support and he told me that the screen is considered a part of the keyboard and the warranty covers all parts and labor for one year. On the product box there is a sticker that states you can even get an extra year of warranty for registering your Korg Product online give you a total 2 years coverage.

I knew what the warranty covers as I currently own Korg products that have been registered online extending the warranties.

:-) How do these people actually get jobs in Music Stores ?.
Everything in the box is covered by KORG's warranty. Even the power cable.

As for the length of the warranty. For all you guys in Europe, Thomann give you 3 years for free.

Regards.
Sharp.

has anyone heard of a 3 year warrenty?

i don't know if i was jipped or not...

he told me about the year warrenty and the korg... amounting to 2 years... but for an extra hundred... 3 years.

so that's what i did.

well... even if i was ripped... i got the best headphones included in the price and paid no tax, free keyboard stand and talk him down on the keyboard price... saving hundreds. still came ahead.

but is there?

this was at guitar center.
