Pa800 Im having a STS WRITING problem..........help

Lets say I have a style setup with 4 different STS sounds
Piano, Sax Organ, Brass

OK now I look on my songbook list and SELECT a song

when the song opens its on VARIATION #3 & STS#1

Now my problem is how can I CHANGE & SAVE which STS I want the song to open with ? everytime I try to write it it reverts BAC to STS#1?

Hi,

as far as I know the first selected STS cannot be memorized in the SongBook entry.
Your choices are:
- by default the first STS is selected, like when the Single Touch button is lit.
- if you want to come up with a STS similar to the variation number (like var3 -> STS 3) then press once the Single Touch button (led flashing).

But IMHO the most important and easy solution is to program the STS in the same order you will use to play them in the song (the the first sound is always in STS1).
Playing "Careless whisper" my first choice will be: STS1 = Sax for example.
The great benefit of the SongBook is that once accurately programmed it last forever (ok, ok for very long time) ....

Booby thanx for the advice....I might have to go that way putting my first sound in STS#1 so it will by default be used no matter which variation I start with.

Yes DNJ, SongBook doesnt remember STS like that, it opens the first one.
