Master and EQ with TEX

How do you go about mastering with your Triton Extreme? I'm very new to this aspect of music production, but after reading up on it a bit I have realized the importance of this process.

Now, I know there is a lot of information in the Mixing and Mastering Forum here, but my question is more specific to the TEX. Do you use the master EQ, the insert effect EQ, both? And please...be gentle.

Yes, both.
I set Master EQ to be the same in every program, combi and song, so treat him as mixer setting, I don't want to mess around with it every now and then.
That's way I use insert effects to modify power in frequencies.

Can it be more gentle?

Thanks, Shrike.

I still need to get accustomed to the way the effects are set up and routed. I was so used to having only master effect settings on the 01/W with no insert effects that I just don't know what to do with myself now. Hehe!

Its not really a big deal:
As MASTER always try to use some Ambient FX as REVERB and DELAY cuz
its easier to assign the WET/DRY to an Assignable Switch and control them
in RealTime.
It is better to use Modulation, Dynamic, Filter, Distortion and other FX as
INSERTS and that is not only my taste and method but it is some kind of a
rule in the Mixing industry.

Thanks for the input.

I haven't seen any sort of guidelines where effects are concerned. From what I have gathered, it is pretty subjective and you just have to mess with it to get the sound you want. Have I missed something or is this the case?
