Korg M3 joystick lamp

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to switch of the lamp light in the joystick of the Korg m3?

From a theoretical standpoint, if there is a bulb inside, a different colored bulb could be designed and used.
From a practical standpoint, unless the bulb Korg uses is a generically available bulb that also has other colors easily available, the answer would be "no".

The lamp is part of the joystick circuit board, so plugging in another one is not possible. Should it go bad in the future, the circuit board is easily accessed by removing 2 screws underneath the keyboard and lifting the joystick assembly up enough to remove it.

Not that I know... I'm only guessing here, but I would have thought that KORG would have used LED's ?.

No, but you can snip the two connections.
