MIDI Mixer? more output for PAXPRO? Multitrack recorder?

The idea is to connect a midi mixer to the PA1Xpro and then use the output of the midi mixer (16) and route them to a main mixer for public performance. The sound engineer would be able to control each of the instruments playing in the PA1XPRO.

Is a Digital Recording device like the
Akai Professional (24 multi record channels) or the Korg D3200 [/img]http://www.korg.com/gear/images/product ... 00.jpg[img]
(8 multi rec) (16 w/ the D32XD discontinued) [/img]http://www.korg.com/page_img/d32xd_center.jpg[img] able to record the tracks from thr Korg (SEQUENCER or STYLES) automatically when connected via MIDI?[/img]

I also realize that MIDI is data not sound... is there a solution since the PA1xpro is limited to 4 output (L+R,3,4)
