I think an official "Sticky" wishy list should be started for the M3..especially now that the Oasys has the MOD 7.
1) I would like to see more Formant Motion sounds...especially anything
~Wave~ related. Wavestation EXB maybe?
2) More Ethnic World sounds such as pipes..percussion..Asian..Turkish..Arabian.

i really wish korg will create an hybrid workstation-virtual analog! (maybe an M3-VA  ), i mean, i love lots of workstation features as sequencer, rythmic pattern, some karma arrangement and so on but i also would like to have on the front panel more knobs to act in real time on sound parameter, since the M3 sinthesis structure is not so far from a VA structure (ok oscillator uses multisample, but modulation and filter are the same as a VA), so something like on the left knobs like on a real synth, in the middle the touch screen and on the right classical korg workstation panel.

I would like Korg to make a bigger ram module because 320mb sounds really limiting...

Also maybe like the Oasys, M3 could instead of software updates have more synth engines via modules like the Radias board, generally, M3 could become really modular that way :)

I would like to select note range by pressing enter+keyboard in track edit pages (quantize, shift/erase note...) because in these pages : enter=ok :(

and, more usb speed (660 KBytes/s, it's small for usb2)

The below would be extremely useful and safer, if/when the M3 is ever seriously redesigned, or more likely, Korg markets a new workstation/synth/stage piano:

Like on the PA-800, if the USB B port was on top of the case it would be more protected than the traditional rear location--out of harm's way from stagemates and overindulged patrons.

However, rather than having the stick sit in a depressed area that can catch beverage spills, perhaps placing it in a slightly elevated boss that stuck up no farther than a JS or wheels wouldn't be too expensive to design/produce.

the A port can stay on the rear as cables are less fragile. But there's still a risk for one who might be using USB in a small stage setting.

I wish better velocity curves because with the ones in global mode there are many problem to obtain all velocity values (0-127) if you select curves 1,2,3,4.
The 5 & 6 sound good but playing softly made too loud volume!

Possibility to create user defined note patterns in Karma, like a normal arpeggiator.

Please

really is not possbile? :?: :?: (i neve tried, i admit)

so, it is possbile for the drum pattern to define user preset, but not for karma arpeggiator....

really, I was surprised too.. (I discovered it when I've tried to create a Pink Floyd "On-the-run"-like arpeggiator).

My wish is for Korg to reconsider adding the Moss Board again as an option to the M3 as I know for a fact that so many European and Middle Eastern musicians are staying away from it because of this reason.

I wish that korg will sell the keybed of M3 without the module. for the people like me that have the M3m but not the keyboard.

I wish that there would be a setting where you could disable showing the GM sounds in the category mode... i just think they are in the way most of the time
I would really appreciate this... Thanks

Yes i know that but that's not good when you are a searching for specifik sounds... so i need to use the category mode. But then the GM sounds are there which i dont like  ... So just a simple setting in globalmode or somewhere where you just choose to hide the GM sounds from the category mode
