The M-3's architecture is fixed, so it only suports two types of sounds:
1) Sample playback
2) Optional EXB-Radias

The M3 won't ever support the Korg Legacy Collection.

Korg could release samples and programs from KLC-DE (M/1, T/1) but I doubt they will.

Interesting.
Sina172,

No need to SHOUT!! :)

Many people don't really understand how electronic musical instruments work inside. They see new software for personal computers, see expansions for the OASYS and therefore get "confused" about what can or can not be added to a particular product.

Well-i had the Oasys...

I have seen this argument many times on forums, but thought I would mention Neko GS.

Sina172 wrote: Why do you think the OASYS costs so much???? It's the SOFTWARE EXPANDABILITY that justifies its price tag!

Uhm, seriously... It's a matter of taste but I think M3 doesn't look bad, actually pretty good, but Oasys seems to be designed somewhat better than the M3 as it looks kinda more futuristic/modern and it has this 10 inch screen that is a touchscreen so there's less clutter on the synth itself..
