Hi guys, does any1 have any afghan rubab samples? I mean samples of each seperate note so that we can map it across? I have previously made rubab from editing other instruments like banjo and koto but still not our rubab! Has any body tried sampling a rubab??

Robab samples for Pa800

Hello everyone:

I am not sure but I think I have some Robab sounds on my Pa800. Most of them are copied from the Arabic SETs that I have used in the past and really can not remember the names for those SETs but they all are saved in my Pa800 Preferences section.. They are not actually Robab sounds but very close. I will be posting them here when I get home tonight. As I said they might not sound as Robab sound to some of you but wont hurt to share them with you. Also I need a favor and that is to have a good Tunpora sound sample that works on my Pa800. I do have a .wav Tunpora looped sound sample that works perfectly fine on my Yamaha SU200 sampler but it will not work as a perfect loop on my Pa800. I used the TIME SLICE procedure and saved it in the Pad and Style area. When I play it, for some reason it will loop but stops and starts again. Meaning; that there is gap in the middle of the loop. It is very annoying to me and hope someone has an advice. I will post it here as a link for anyone to look at and play and hope to come up with a solution. Thanks in advanced.

Best Regards,

Fahim, :D
