Post by kabuchi »

Hi all

this tutorial by Sharp,
file:///C:/tutorial_mastering_studio.htm

How relevant is this to the Extreme? Can Sharp or anybody else explain the differences and or additions that will have to be made to do this on the extreme? want the same punch in making a CD...

I've posted so much stuff over the years I can't remember exactly what your referring to. So a link will be handy.

Ahhh I remember now.

Nope.. this won't work on the Triton Extreme because you don't have any HDR tracks that will allow you to reprocess the bounced down and normalised tracks through a compressor.

Wow, place this one in the category of "things you can do on the Studio, but not on the Extreme".

Yeah, having HDR tracks means so much more that just recording audio.
They can give you unlimited effects, poly and so much more if you adjust your ways of working with the sequencer.

Bouncing in the digital domain is what it's all about. You can do it as many times as you want with no loss to quality.
