just resigned from work...

thursday will be my last day at work as audio technician for the Auditorium here in Gorizia, after some mobbing and many problems I decided that 6,75 € per hour wasn't an honest wage at all... so I decided to resign from my work in the busyest period of the year, just to have some gratifications

they now have only 4 days to find someone who will substitute me in the work (

), and make him to teach himself how the whole control room works.......
so... since they was my last money I've just bought an AKG C414B XLS for my studio

regards, Lorenzo

good for you
My last day on a 6 month consulting assignment was last Friday
I am greatly enjoying the time off. For 6 months, I had no life Monday-Friday due to work and commuting
Most folks here in the US are what I call ' wage slaves' . They are completely locked in to a job they do not like but tolerate since there bills/monthly expenses that are a heavy weight

Well, I feel one of these guys you're talking about...
I like my job, but I'm sure it's not what I want to do for the rest of my life (I'm a Java/Oracle programmer).
As you saied, in a way or in the other, you must work to arrive at the end of the month without heartbrakes
regards

One of the great advantages I love about being self employed and working from Home 90% of the time..

I resemble that remark....I mean, I resent that remark. It is a sad state of affairs.

I guess the only consulation is my few synths goes with my little time to play them.
Go write some great music.....you two bums! No more excuses.
