Newbie question - Loading PA80 Styles on the PA1X

Greetings all,
I'm new to the PA1X, and new to this great forum. I did lots of research before posting this but still did not find the information here on this forums (or anywhere else.)
I'm having trouble loading PA80 styles onto my new PA1X. When inserting the FD the .set folder does appear. However, when opening the .set folder, no style folder appears inside.
Can anyone help me with this?
On a side note, is there any way to load PA800 styles onto the PA1X?
Thanks,
Efram

Can't help you out with your first question, cause I don't know if the Pa80 uses another file format. I don't think so, but I'm not sure. Is there a style folder when you examen the floppy disk at your PC?
The Pa800 styles
for use with Pa1X can be downloaded from the KorgPa website, at:

Hi Ephram,
Please note that styles that run on the Pa800 will not sound right if you load them onto the Pa1x. The sound patch numbers are different. It is possible to edit them and resave the syles, but this is a lot of work.
However Korg's bonus collection of Pa800 styles for use on the Pa1x were edited by Korg to change the patch numbers for the sounds. Of course if you tried to load this particular "bonus collection" onto a Pa800 it would not sound right!
Best regards,
Rob
