Does anyone out there have the reverse piano pcg like in the song "Roundabout", by Yes? Also used in Queen's, "Another One Bites The Dust". Or is it somewhere in the Triton Extreme?

Hey, there is something similar im sure. Back when I used to play in a Queen tribute band im sure I used a preset from the Extreme and tweaked it a little for another one bites the dust.
It is in programs, category SE, and its called Wormhole Piano, or something along those lines.
...or you could just make the sound your looking for from scratch :p
Hope this helps,
Greg

Actually, you can program your own very easily. Just select any piano patch, press MENU -> P2 - Basic. Then, select the OSC tab. Here, you can reverse the waveforms. That should do the trick.
Peace

There is also a program called "Bkwrds/Frwrds Pf"
Program C127.
If you can't find it, load the program from Global.
It's closer to the "Roundabout" sound, than the "Another One Bites The Dust" sound.
As the previous posts mentioned, tweak it.

All those ideas are great but I need the piano sound to start off very low and gradually geat very loud over a period of time like 1 1/2 measures. I know nothing about programming so is there anyone astute enough to help me through it? It sounds like combining the wormhole in SE with a reverse volume piano would get that sound correctly. Although again I can't tell you how dumb I am when it comes to programming.

Monte, use one of the pianos mentioned above and tweak it's amp envelope generator. Thats P4 section in Program edit menu, tab EG. Make your graph go from 0 at start level to let's say 50 in Break level and than 99 (max) at sustain level. Than adjust time parameters to some values until you get your piano to sound from lower volume to max volume. Of course, if it doesn't sound long enough to sustain such setup, you'll have to adjust EG in P3 filter section too to prolong it for needed time and do the same thing in amp EG on P4, otherwise you'll get your piano to raise volume gradually but it will loose it's color too soon.
Programming really isn't so hard, try it, you wont hurt your Extreme, don't worry.
Regards,
shrike

Shrike,
You've done it again. Solved the programming problem. It works absoltely perfect. We are now duplicating Another One Bites The Dust with every cool EFX that is on the origional recording.
Thanks for all your help,
Monte
