Hi to all. Recently joined the forum.
I am a new ower of the TE. I had a Yamaha 740 before. I urgently need to know how to load my Yamaha midi files and reedit them. (Change voices, volume, etc and save it so it plays the new way every time. When I change things in Song play it reverts when the song restarts)
Can someone please direct me to the chapter and pages in the manual that will walk me through this? Or maybe send me a tutorial of your own. I will be very grateful. I just dont seem to understand the manual as yet.

Load the Midi file into the sequencer and then edit the tracks/change voices etc.

You may also need to go into P5 Track Edit
Select Event Edit from the drop down menu
click Ok
Then edit any program change data etc that is present on any tracks

That should work
