Buying An EMX From America

If i buy an EMX from america what will i need to plug it into an english socket? do i just need and simple plug attactment or is there a converter box i need to get?

well i know that if it was the reverse way...you just need a mini adapter.
becuase i bought a uk game console one time. but as far as the other weay around. im wit choo mein

You'll still just need a mini adapter. It basically just uses the ground (if available) and one of the socket contacts instead of both.

I would have to say that you need a converter box. Mainly because of the voltage difference (220 vs 120 here in America). I wouldn't want to risk a blowout on a $400 piece of equipment.

My bad- I just assumed that the MX's power supply was universal. I just checked and it isn't! You'll need a step-down transformer to adapt your plug.

Or probably a better option would be to buy a new power supply from Korg UK. It will probably be about the same price as a decent stepdown transformer anyway.
