saving loops into internal memory

hello,

for some reason, I used to be able to save loops in seq mode into my template songs in internal memory. I found this was an easy way to sketch out drum loops and basslines and come back to them later.

Suddenly, when i load a template song, I get none of my loops anymore, and i cant save loops into any new template songs. does anyone know offhand why this might have changed?
