SEQ:How to erase the recorded phrase added in overdub-mode ?

I start to like working with the Triton Le sequencer more and more (almost better than Reason and Cubase).

My questions about the sequencer (still didn't figure out nor found in manual):

OVERDUB-MODE:
Okay, this is very nice to use to build up for example the drum-pattern. So easy to record hihats after recorded the kick.

Question: If I record for example the hihat after recording the kick, but I am not satisfied with my hihat-pattern, how can I erase just the hihat sound without losing the kick ?

OVERWRITE-MODE
Okay, the name says enough. What happened to me is that I made a drumtrack in overdub-mode. Then after that I recorded another track (let's say bassguitar) and then got an idea again to add to the drum-pattern.

Question: But I forgot to switch it back to Overdub-mode and then I lost the whole drumpattern (at least in those measures) as I recorded the addition from the 1st count. How can I undo that, how can I keep the drumtrack after the ' overwrite-mistake' ?

Thank you !
