Sound Card & OS for new laptop-Advice

Hi all
I am thinking of getting a new DELL XPS laptop. The sound can be upgraded from a intergreted sound card to a Sound Blaster. I currently have a Latitude and I use its intergreted sound for some music editing on Acid Pro & it does the job. What is your opinion on upgrading the sound card?

Also regarding the OS, I currently use MS WIN XP Pro on the Latitude the XPS comes with VISTA home and I am thinking VISTA Business. Mainly because of the security side of things (no WIN XP driver for these machines otherwise I would install XP) but home seems to have more entertainment softwares. Again this is another upgrade. Should I or shouldn't I?
