Since its in the air or atleast highly expected that the new OS for Pa800 is being worked on & will be unleashed soon, there are a couple of requests to be incorporated in the new OS. First, Im sure every1 of us would like to have templates for Sequencer mode as they were in the Tritons. Second, how about a Guitar mode utility for the Sequencer mode as well? This feature will turn the board into a hardcore music machine with extreme realism in guitar sound in composing songs & stuff.

Hi Umanid. Thats a great Idea, I also heave thinked of that, That would turn the KB to a great Studio.

Also, More Styles whit new thinking sounds and samples Rass, and loop based crunchy dirty r&b trance techno.Not more of Cha cha beguine slow rumbas, Comooon be young even if you are old!

Respect for the old people, don make them be older, they can dance Trance to, i seen it before.
So New USB sticks whit Guitar riffs and Dynamic sounding orch samples, And first of al, MOOOORE sounds from THE FORGOTTEN PART OF THE WORLD!

Well that is exactly what the doctor ordered for the Pa800 Nothing against the cha cha's, beguines n rhumba's but what we SERIOUSLY need are some amazing & wonderful styles based on techno, dance, house, contemporary and ofcourse the oriental ones too.
By the way, are there any of such style genres available for download on the net for Pa800? Im yet to try Abdalah Safar's sets on his website. But any other recommendations will be highly appreciated.

He is my friend also, but dont matter that, the samples sounds and set files are amazing.

There is many of Oriental sounds , but also better DR kits for al genre, and many synth sample sounds from moog to analog stuff!
I heave many synth sounds/Samples from my Nord lead,s. So i will upload it later here!

Well this will put a few more stars on the Pa800 By the way, I was looking for a means to contact or communicate with the Korg people at USA or Italy to convey such requests but couldnt find any email on the net for the purpose. Any idea?

In sampling mode, a way to load and write all .WAV or .AIFF samples in a folder consecutively. (Order determined Alphabetically). Added after existing samples in memory.

Will make life much easier for example when creating multisamples from individual .WAV files.

1. It is a good idea to make TWO portamento modes - TIME ( with time constant, regardless of interval between notes ), and currently working mode - RATE ( the speed is unchanged, regardless of interval ).
2. I would like to see more control options in ASSIGNABLE SLIDER section, for example - Accompaniment Volume, etc.
3. Custom ENSEMBLE presets ( something like Custom Voice Mapping in HARMONY mode )
4.There was an useful function in PLAY SONG mode until OS Version 1.02 - [SHIFT]+[UP]/[DOWN] - when select song from folder containing a lot of midis, it helps to find quickly a file. This function is no more available, also another shortcut in SONGPLAY mode - [SHIFT]+ASSIGNABLE SLIDER 2 is no more accessible.

In SONG PLAY mode reading txt. files with wroten in more languages like russian, chinese etc.

Hello guys.
It will be very usefull if korg can add a seperate on and off option on the pads.
Lets say right now for instance you use all 4 pads together and when you want to turn off only one pad and leave the other three playing , you cant you have to press the stop button, which will stop all the pods. This individual on and off option will be very nice, so this way when you want to turn off pad#1, when the other pads are still playing.

Whoever knows how to use the GUITAR MODE very well very soon will
realize that Logically the GUITAR MODE makes no sence in Sequencer
nor it can be added there but thats only the ones who know how Guitar
Mode really works, for the ones who dont then i dont know why they would
ask for it in the Sequencer Mode.
Here is why:
In Style Record Mode, anything that you record played back in Style Play
gets transposed the way you want to but thats not possible in SEQ.
Now in Style Record Mode you use only one Root Key to do that since its
easier cuz everything gets transposed and on the same way GUITAR MODE
works too...you record only in C for example, in Gutar Mode the whole
keyboard every note play only in C cuz every note has different stroke and
effect and whatever...now i would like, someone to explain to me how the
hell would this be achieved in SEQ mode, to add 30 or more KEYS for EACH
KEY since there is not Automated Tansposition...cuz, when a song is created
in SEQ MODE it has a structure VERY and WAAAAAYYYYYYY different then
in Style Mode. As i said, the ones that really know what Guitar Mode does
will understand what i said but the ones who dont probably would start
cursing at me. My point is, sometimes we need to be more logical and
ask for things that would really make our lives easier, not toys that we dont
even probably know how to use...the things that were already given to us
dont work properly, why ask for more headache.

We dont know yet.

First of all, all bugs fixed so that they don’t freeze or behave stupid, my kb is great np, but as I can see on the forum few ppl. are having problems, so this is most important part, than few extra features would be very good.

-Few more colours and skins in the background
-Text files ‘song.txt’ when linked, to show exactly as it is shown in the notepad, so we don’t have to put lines G____Am___C between the chords to make them stay in the middle of the screen
-512 Mb Ram (Even shitty tyros can have 1Gig)
-In Song Book Up+ and Down- buttons to work as up and down and not as Down and Up, if i press down i expect it to scroll down not up as it is now.
-In Songbook when you have list of songs on the screen, please make key/tempo/meter stretchable to the right so that we can see the full names of the songs, that’s more important than to see what key/meter is the style or whatever.
-User1, 2 Programs, few more pages would be very useful.


These are some of my requests that I would love to have, I’m hoping that KORG will put some of these features in there, as you all know we paid a lot of money for this Keyboard so we are expecting bit of feedback too.
