Dunno... but I'm discovering my Radias on my own...

I've just learned how to make those Moogy vintage ol' school 5th resonant leads... sounds pretty "vintage"! (I know, coz I have Moog the Rogue too)

+ I discovered how to use Radias as a Electric Piano :lol:
Something like Radias does offer really good "emulation" of an EP... well, it doesn't exactly sound like one, but flexibility is there...

What I do:
I take sin waveforms - VPM modulation, to make your EP sound more aggressive - from a organ type of sound > Rhodes > Wurlitzer
Some envelopes...

I make LFO 1 sound like a tremolo effect and LFO 2 as a vibrato effect
FX1 = Chorus
FX2 = some cabinet/amp effect (this is where it begins to sound like an EP)
MFX = reverb
And you already have a 2 band EQ...

The result = very flexible analog piano emulation, which you can't achieve with other keyboards, IMHO.
Well, it sounds not like Rhodes or something, but it feels/react like an EP - one of a kind VA EP :wink: and I think, most people will call it EP-like sound, not analog synth type sound...

I will upload some patches later...

To date this is the only active site for Radias that I know of.

There are two Yahoo groups (KorgRadias and radiaskorg) but they are inactive.

If you're in search of patches, well why not offer up what you've created and maybe others will follow.

i say everyone who uses this forum make 10 of their best patches and then upload somewhere, and then have someone organize them into 1 big package. im starting to get the hang of making sounds with the radias.

I don;t mind

cool, i've been browsing through different soft synths on my computer and their patches, and i've been recreating the best ones on the radias. its a long process but i'm actually having fun doing this. wow, now i just need to put up a profile on e-harmony. Yes my names Bob I like to sit in my room with all the lights off and twist knobs on this metal thing until i look up at the clock and realize Ive been doing the same thing for the past 10 hours. then i usally go downstaires, slop together a sandwhich and some milk and crawl my way back into the lab where I continue twisting knobs.

whose wants to f*ck me?

i sure dont.

anyways, sounds....yes ill have a couple to contribute to the mix pack.
