2 voice resonator!

hi guys thanks for all ur help! i jsut want to know what a 2 voice resonator is and how does it work. the more detail the more help it will be for me! thank you!
An explanation is in PG p. 232/233, but I wouldn't be surprissed if you find it not enough.
