microKontrol Pedal Question

Post by molehill »

Hi,

Is it possible to use a volume pedal or wah pedal with the microKontrol?

I have a PS-10 pedal which I can use. I also have a Roland EV-5, which I cannot (properly) use.

I have searched and seen that for other Korg keyboards you need to adjust the polarity, and I have done this, but the pedal doesn't work.

Looking at the manual I can see that there are pedal options, but they all seem to only allow for on/off, i.e. only a reading of 0 or 127, and not allow me to use it as an actual volume pedal.

Is it possible to use a pedal like this on the microKontrol? If so, how?

Thanks.

Answer: No. It's not going to do anything but go from absolute value 0 to absolute value 127.
