Just wondering. I noticed on some styles the left hand accompchords are not sustained even with the Memory button turned on. It that normal? I was expecting for the left hand accomp/chords to sustain until released on any style while the Memory button is on.

Just checking... do you mean the sustain of the LOWER sound or the actual accompaniment itself (ACCs 1-5 etc...)?

I believe it is the lower sound. But the chords also do not sustain in some styles even though the memory button is on.

Hi Hammer
You need to check the Style Play Preferences and set "Memory Mode" to the desired setting...
This should solve your problem. (See page 95 of the latest Korg PA1XPro manual - ver 2.52)
Manual page 95 wrote:Memory Mode
This parameter sets the way the MEMORY button works.
Chord
When its LED is on, the MEMORY button keeps
the recognized chord in memory. When its LED
is off, the chord is reset when raising the hand
from the keyboard.
Chord + Lower
When its LED is on, the MEMORY button keeps
the recognized chord in memory, and keeps the
Lower track held until the next note or chord is
played. When its LED is off, the chord is reset
when raising the hand from the keyboard, and
the Lower track is not sustained.
Fixed Arr. + Lower
When its LED is on, the MEMORY button keeps
the Lower track held until the next note or chord
is played. When off, the Lower track is not sustained
when raising the hand from the keyboard.
The chord is always kept in memory.
Hope this helps
Pete
