Can the Korg Legacy softwares be used for sampling?

If not what would you recommend?
Do you want to sample the sounds from Korg softsynths or do you want to use the VSTi's to sample stuff from external sources?
If latter, that's a no-go, you need a sampler for that.
Former is an issue open to debate. All sounds from any Korg device (and those from competition) have been sampled and used too many times to count so that shouldn't be a problem. However different instrument manufacturers have different views on this (for example Oberheim is known to oppose sampling of their instruments).
