I have installed a FRESH copy of XP SP2 and loaded all software/drivers from CD that came with Radias followed by reload all on the Radias.
I changed USB port connection and XP recognized the radias. I launch SOund editor and can see the LOG window with MIDI setting. However when I do a receive all it say receiving for 2 seconds then disapears and nothing is received from Radias. Is there a guideline to follow somewhere?
Also, if I wish to upgrade to the 1.8 USB driver should I first uninstall the older driver? The radias is at 1.1.7 and wish to move to 2.0 but connection issues is preventing me.
Much appreciated.

Never mind
Never mind.. REsintalled from Fresh XP install. This time following install instructions. This means to NOT have the USB cable connected to the RAD until the install is fully completed.
I recently installed the latest driver and successfully updated my Radias R to ver 2.0, but for some reason I'm still unable to get the software editor to work. the editor is also 2.0. I checked the Windows registry and have only 5 midi devices listed, so that should not be the problem. I'm running the editor on a laptop running Windows Vista, same computer I did the OS update on the Radias. prior to using the Vista machine I tried using a laptop running XP w/ SP2 to no avail.
