Short answer - yes.

Long answer - there are three style/ sound formats - Pa50, Pa1x and Pa800.
Pa2x and Pa800 - can load everything (but has some bugs)
Pa1x - can load Pa1x and Pa50 format but NOT Pa800 format
Pa500 - can load everything so long as samples are not involved.

I did it and all went OK.
There is one thing that you have to do , you have to re-write all samples on its own places again , to avoid any problem...

Lika,

Thanks, it makes a lot of sense because that will convert the samples, styles, sounds etc to Pa800 format which is the native format for the Pa2x.

Hi,

Yes you can but please make sure the Pa2x is upgraded to OS1.1 & MR1.1 first of all. You will have problems if you load Pa1x samples on a non-upgraded Pa2x.
