I have created the sound i want on the x-50 and have saved it under a name 057:dead winter in fast synth and have created an arp for that specific sound and thats what i want...but when i make another programme it uses that same arp for every programme? how can i make so that my programme has its own arpeggitor?so when i switch to a different proggrame say 063:flute pad it doesnt have dead winter arpeggitor? any help will be wicked.

I'm afraid that it's not possible to do this.. It's like when you change a program that was part of some combi, then this combi will change too. You can try to find some arps that you don't like or don't use and change them.

The microX has 256 arpeggio patterns in total. These are shared among Program, Combi and Multi. Which means that for a certain program You'll have to select an arpeggio from this list. But having 251 user patterns should do for the next couple of sounds or five :)

I mean, the factory sounds are not THAT important, when one gets to control this beast.

You CAN do this! I had the same problem, but i don't know exactly how i solved it. I know you have to have Auto Arp. function in Global settings turned ON for Programs and Combis.

So, you pick up a program, then pick up an arpeggiator for it and then overwrite your previous patch. You also have to have Arp turned ON.

And thats it, i think it should work!
