Hello All,

Just got my Korg m3 73-key. I love it. Need help. I upgraded to SYS 1.2.0 just like it said and did everything the instructions said but when I look for the 512 new sounds can't find them in the bank U-A to U-D.

What am I doing wrong? The SYS 1.2.0 installed correctly & I did it 2 times like it said.

Can somebody please give me better instructions, tip or make a youtube video on this?

after updating the OS, select reload factory preload from the drop-down in global mode

follow the instructions in the PDF

to the letter ......

read the part about what to do after the reboot!

I had to follow the process twice to get the new PCG's. Someone else had the same problem.

That's not a 'problem' it's a 'feature'.
You have to execute the update twice. The first one updates the OS, the second adds the new preset data. And that information can be found in the HowToUpdate document included in the download archive ...

Hello All,

Jesse here! Thank you all very much for all your help and time. I got the new 512 sounds working as of today!!! Yahooooo!!!!!

I did everything 3 times. The thing I was missing was after all the steps I went to combi mode to look for the sounds.

They are in Program mode and in bank U-A to U-D. Got it all worked out now. Enjoying my new Korg M3 73 even more now!!!
