Basically, my band are looking to cover the song "Famous Last Words" by My Chemical Romance and assigned me the job of the power chords.
These are the chords I'll be playing http://www.911tabs.com/link/?3768644
Any help with a guitarish rocky sound and how to get to it would be greatly appreciated.
Dan
Help finding a "Rock" sound on MicroKorg.

binzi the idea wasn't that we copied the band exactly,
we wanted to add our own personal touch, but didn't want it to feel out of place.
Thanks.
Yo! MCR rocks! I was just at the final show of The Black Parade in MSG!
I find a KORG MicroKorg -- factory patches B65 or A66 (tweaked to taste) -- run through a ROLAND MicroCube amp set at British Combo with the gain set way up and the chorus placed at mid point will give you the MCR guitar wall-of-sound for $500 U.S. Just line out the amp into the band's PA for the main mix.
