simple question

ok i dont have the machine yet but will soon ok it mite sonn stupid but there is 2 colour machines red, and blue?? is the emx the blue or red or both and whats the diff between the too?im looking to be buying the blue one and what do you guys mostly use??? red or blue

the korg prduct website tells you all you need to know, but for reference:
Red= ESX-1
Blue= EMX-1
ESX-1= sample based groovebox, you can sample your own dum hits etc and use multiple effects, also has a reduced synth section. The box is more based around making drum loops and sample based patterns. you can load new libraries so you have unlimited sample choices.
EMX-1=synthesiser based groovebox, you can model your own synth sounds from scratch and use multiple effects, but the drum section is fixed, you cant sample new stuff just use the library thats built in. Designed more for synth creation (melodies). But the drum parts are still good.
They both are made for different things, both together is the best option but if your getting one you have to decide what features are most important to you.

ah thanks alot mate for that im getting the emx so i dont mind preloaded drum beats im more into the synth aspect of it. im looking for any trance demos with this amchine incl bass drums and sythn if anyone can post a link most styles here are very boring demos of music i like an upbeat demo if u or anyone has one again thanks for ya help

yeah ive checked youtube out ony found only one good demo i liked and what i want to be doing and its done only on the emx have a look and tell me what you think? i think its the best tune done on the emx by anyone ive seen so far

He says he is using FLSTUDIO4 for some synth parts but the EMX has 5 keyboard parts so you should be ok.

yeah cheers, so i can do synths like int the demo? including bass lines to?is it worth using arranger programs like abelton llive do you get betr use from the emx?
