Keep me posted everyone in case I've missed you. By the way this signifies a posting and not necessarily a finished polished piece. So if I've seen you post something I'll check off your name.

Counting down the days and I have not seen or heard much from the group. How is everyone doing this month?

If May is tough, what might June bring? I know for me I'm already outdoors more. Though I'm working on some new lyrics as we speak.

I am running a bit behind. I finished writing my song, but have yet to record it. A trip to the Oral Surgeon isn't helping as I don't feel 100%, when I sing my mouth hurts, and the narcotic pain reliever I am taking is playing havoc with my timing and concentration; however I am rather chilled from the medication so I am not too worried about it

So I've been working on writing my next song, another vocal number, and just mumbling the lyrics as I play the guitar to be gentle on my mouth. It's a comical scene.
I may record an "unplugged" live version of this months song and just post that as a place holder, and then record it properly with all the instrumentation in June or so. I really like this song a lot so I want to record a strong rendition of it. It and the song I am currently writing are what I hope to make into an "EP" of songs that are all similar. They really are very different to the previous vox/gtr number I did.

Hey, I'm watching silently, but working with Lorenzo.
I must say we've not reached the result we expected, but we're quite satisfacted because of the huge experimentation and usage of our gears we putted into this month.
Summer months will be a challenge for me, because in mid June/start July I'll have 4 exhams at the conservatory, in late July I'll be at a choir conduction masterclass for a week, in mid august I'll be on the seaside for a week, in early september I'll follow another choral conduction masterclass, and in late septembers I'll have 2 more tests at the conservaotry...busy summer I would say

Last minute dash....(wheez...wheez). I wish I had a good reason like oral surgery. It has been a crazy month. I will have something by tomorrow. Looking forward to the other pieces.
Daz....using narcotics does not qualify your music as an expermental piece.

Tonight I could go for some narcotics, to ease the stress of my work week. Hopefully I'll get some new music put together. I have my June song ready to post, but I like to stay ahead of the game. I will remind people, for what it's worth. If you're really busy, it's fine to post something fun, improvised and experimental to keep up with the monthly song deadlines. Even a simple progression qualifies. As Daz was saying, he could at least put up a preliminary version to make the May checklist and then add the vocals later. Works for me, at least we can see what each other is working on and provide enouragement.
by the way, if i do decide on the m3 in the next couple weeks ??? I will probably put up some initial exercises as I learn karma or radias or etc. so don't expect too much to start with if I go that route.

Alright, is Daz still coming off his narcotics? I'm showing Daz, Unimon and Jazlover? Any other stragglers that need coaxing here? May is turning out just fine, but I must remind folks that we're already into June so don't fall too far behind or the summer will bite you in the naughty bits.
