I'm assuming you have OS 3.1 running because prior to this combining different sets was more difficult.
The way to mix or add to sets is to have the parts you want available loaded and then to save this as a new set.
Sets don't necessarily contain PCM data - they could be just sound modifications, user saved locations or other settings. If they are sampled sounds then there will be PCM as well.
Before you do anything do a complete resource backup so you can recover if you make a mistake.
Now just load the parts of various sets you want to combine. You do this by going to Disk, Load, OPEN (and keep choosing Open rather than load until you get to the element you want to load - then choose load AND choose where you want to load it).
Now save this as a new set and name it.
PS if there is some PCM loaded that you don't want you need to first go to Sound Mode, Record and Delete all Samples/Multisamples.
Hope this helps.

John

If you want to combine Sets of styles you can use XRM available from
