The software for the PA1XPro is available from http://www.korgpa.com/pa_root/en/produc ... ft.html?en

The latest OS version is 3.01, you will need 4 floppy disks for the OS.
I'm not sure what you mean by format the PA1X, if you mean to clear out the contents of the memory before loading the OS, then power up the keyboard with the first floppy disk in it, when the screen asks you to "Press OK" DONT---- Press the "Intro 1" button instead, this will reset the memory in the keyboard before loading the new OS.

INTRO 3 WILL NOT WORK ON PA1XPRO?

IS THERE ANY WAY TO MAKE IT WORK???

PLEASE HELP

Intro3 is usually a count-in. When you say it doesn't work - what do you mean?
Does the button light up?
Does the intro bar count display?
Does it "..not work.." on all styles?

Often Intro3 is just 1 bar in length.

i am soo sorry...there is no INTRO 3 but user 3 not working is there any way to repair it...

U know when i touch the screen to relase the songs from USER 3 it wont play....anything else woring fine...

I assume you mean "User 3" style selection.

When you select a style from User 3 on the touch screen, does it load and show correctly on the screen?

What I am trying to understand is whether it is the "selecting" of the style OR the "playing" of the style that does not work.

Please explain exactly what happens...

Sorry - which is right? Just trying to help but I still do not know exactly what is happening on your PA1Xpro - please answer my questions and......

Which OS level are you running?
What are the USER3 styles? - Where did they come from? Are they standard PA1XPro styles or from another keyboard (for example the i30)?

User 3 on style selection does not work.When i trying to play styles from user 3 wont play


OS is : pa1xpro_verzion_301


On user 3 styles i put some intro i created,but when i want to play everything works fine exept USER 3 wont play...


Do i have another qoice to repair it or i have to format it ( reinstall new os )?


if i have to reinstall tell me the procedure pleasee how do i do that...

Will the styles you put in USER3 play OK if you put them in USER1 (the same styles?)
Will any styles play from USER3 bank?

No the styles i put will not play.yess if i put some styles on USER 1 they will play.

no no styles will play on USER 3.

I CAN SEE STYLES ON USER 3 BUT WHEN I TOUCH TO PLAY THEY WILL NOT PLAY.

I THINK THERE IS VIRUS INFECTIONS AND IF IT IS HOW DO I REMOVE IT?

Firstly, there will be no viruses on your PA1Xpro.
The only way you could have a "virus-infected" keyboard is if you installed an OS or Resources NOT supplied by Korg.

I am still not quite sure of what happens when you select USER3:-

If you press the USER3 button I understand that you can see the styles on the screen - is that correct?
When you touch the screen to select and load one of those styles does it actually load the style and look like it is ready to play?
Then please explain what happens - you press "Sync Start", you have keyboard split activated, you play a chord ...???
Or what happens if you simply press "start" (you should at least hear the drums)?
What happens if you have EXACTLY the same style in USER2 bank? Does it work OK?

STEP 1
You could re-install OS 3.01 and RESOURCES data anyway - just in case you have some corruption.

STEP 2
If you send me your USER3 bank styles I can try them on my PA1XPro (the file to send is "USER03.STY"):-
...if they work on my PA!XPro then there is potentially something wrong with yours
...if they do not work on my PA1XPro then we need to be looking at the STYLEs for problems (PA1XPro most likely OK)
STEP 3
The next step would maybe to send me the entire SET which comprises the USER3 bank you are having problems with

Let me know what you want to do...

(Don't worry, we will sort this out eventually...)

i´m sure if you install everything again (OS - like in the last post of Pete by pressing the INTRO1 button (at the moment when press "OK" in the display comes up-not press OK on the screen) your key will work. i think a virus is not able to enter the pa1x.

then install the 4 disks

then calibrate the screen !!!

then download the original BKP-file from korg - via usb on harddisk - then restore BKP - power off - power on and then everything should work fine.

maybe you´ve a SET with files doesn´t work in pa1x or missing samples for the styles or something in this way.
