MS-20 Problem

Hi,
I've made a kind of percussive bass sound with my ms-20 vst but I have a one frustrating issue with it. When my bass line plays (it's just a continuous stab...) the volume is at first at a suitable level, but then gradually goes lower. Then after a while it will increase back to the original desired level. Does anyone know what I can change to stop this from happening? Any help appreciated
