Hi all,
i played on a party yesterday and after a song (midifile) the key complete was broken down - means - no mikro, no sound - nothing.
The emergency Shift+Start/Stop hasn´t worked - i must switch off and on again.
Any ideas my friends?
(at the moment i´m not sure if the key will break down again if i play this same file - i´ve to test this the next days)

Hi Detlef
I am happy to try your file on my keyboard if you wish...

Hiya Detlef...
Have had that same problem once, and from what I could gather at the time, the error-fault lies in the supplying power, meaning a "stray" signal carried by/via the power outlet...
It happened to me only that one time, never since...but I'll be reporting if this will occure again..
Make sure that you give the key enough time to climatize after bringing it into or out of the cold/warmth.

Hi,
thanks for your reply.
I checked this file again last night and it works fine - so means for me the crashdown was a undefined situation for me.
I keep you informed if i will find something else.

Detlef,
Were you using the microphone input and vocal harmonies at the time of the freeze?

Hi Rob,
i always use the mic- input - i doesn´t use the harmonizer - only reverb.

Hi I've seen this happen in the past, but with dedicated Midi File player machines using transformers (Wall Warts), but not keyboards. An electrician told me that it is due to high powered dish washers in the likes of hotels & bars - is this a possibility in your circumstances?
