Random (probably dumb) question - does the Triton Extreme have the ability to allow me to add a rotary sound to an existing piano patch?

I was about to buy a Boss rt20 pedal to create the sound I need, and I realized this may be an option on my Extreme. If not no biggie, but just thought I'd ask if anyone has experience in something like this (I'm still pretty new to the korg). If interested, the sound I'm going for is from the intro to Pink Floyd's song "Echoes".

Hey! A fellow Vince!!

Okay, the Extreme has rotary speaker. If you go to the insert effects and hit Mod/P. Shift, it is the last effect on that tab (effect #40).

Is this what you are looking for??

Ok, time for dumb question #2.. I have my above-mentioned sound created and saved into bank E, sound #5 Program. What I want to do now is replace the very top C-key of the keyboard with a sound-effect I have loaded onto a sample, keeping the rest of the keys the same for that program.

I can create a new Program that JUST has the sample, and I can create the Program with the rotary piano sound, but each time I try to combine the two, I over-write the other..

I know this is basic, but could you point me in the right direction on getting that done? I would imagine it involves using the ranges to apply the sounds, and then writing all that into a Program, but I can't seem to get a normal on-board patch imported into the sampling area.

Assuming your programs are "programs" and not combi's you can create a new combi that includes both your programs and set the range so that the piano is misses the top note and that your sound effect is only that note.

You may have limitations in terms of effects but since you have a one note SFX sample you could resample it with any effects it has and make a program with that.
