getting prg files into editor or mk with mac

Hello

Have seen this question asked a few times but haven't really seen an answer.

I see that this can be done with syx files using sysex send programs but they don't read prg.

the site where I got some prg files from says he using windows so maybe I'll just have to do all the editing in windows (bootcamp)

Also does anyone know of any patches in the mac editor format so I could just open up in the editor and have 128 sounds created by someone there to try out. That would seem the easiest way to access in mac to me.

Thanks
Martin

yeah seems only windows can read prg files.

I might be in the process of reading in the syx files

-MS2000 factory
-MS2000SD1,2,3
-MKFactory
-MS2000Factory
-MS2000sound1
-MS2000sound2

to the MK and then exporting to the mac MK editor and saving in the editor format.

Email me if anyone is interested. Don't really know what I am doing yet though....or if there is a better way.

Don't know if this is a big mission, or the best way to do it or if it is even handy to do.

anyway..

yeah it's done.

wasn't hard. About 20 minutes after I figured out the receive function on the editor.

I'm using the MAC OSX editor version and was thinking it might be possible for other Mac OSX users to share entire libraries if they were saved in the "microKORG SoundEditor Document" format.

Did you get this to work using Mac OSX? If so I would love to have the libraries you listed. I could not get those to work because of the .prg files.
I may try to e-mail you too.
