Radias sync

Hi guys! I sequenced something in Radias like this: on channel 1 I used sequencer1 with a bass, on channel 2 I used sequencer 2 with a kick, on channel 3 I used the arpegiator with some hats. Now, I tried to sync the Radias to an externel sequencer which plays other parts in the song.
First: it does not sync. Second: it does not start when I press the start button in my external sequencer, it only stops when I press stop.
(I did select in the global mode the global channel and the sync to ext.)
I have a live session soon, please help me guys, this is the 3rd day...

The Radias step sequencer does not respond to MIDI start commands, you have to play a note on the MIDI channel(s) that the sequencers are assigned to.
For MIDI synch on
Global page
P04–1: MIDI set the
Routing to
USB+MIDI and
Clock to
Auto. If there is a clock coming in either over the MIDI IN or the USB connection, the Radias will see it.
If that still doesn't work, make sure your external sequencer is set to forward MIDI clock not MTC.

Thanks so very much! The thing is that I cannot sync what I wrote into the sequencer of the Radias with the other gear

Isn't any around way?

Are you sure about this? I don't have a Radias but I'm positive the MS2000 step sequencers can be reset at MIDI clock start.

Ok, like I said, I don't have a Radias so I cannot try stuff here, but I'm reading the manual (pg. 100-101), and it seems to me that the arpeggiator and step sequencers are somehow linked together. Thus, it is possible that if you turn "Key Sync" off for the arpeggiator (P14-1) and turn Latch on for both the arp and the step seq, you may obtain the desired result. You will still need to hit a key to start the sequence, but it will continue after you release the key, and it should be sync'ed to MIDI clock.

Actually I tried that and it looks it's not synced to MIDI Clock

It sounds to me like MIDI clock is not reaching your Radias.
There's a quick way to tell if no clock is arriving: if set to Ext, the sequencers and arpeggiator will not run at all. If set to Auto, they'll run but will follow the tempo knob.
What sequencer you are using, is it hardware or software? Have you successfully synched any other hardware to the external sequencer?

It does receive mici Clock, I tested it, it's not that, it looks like it cannot sync the sequencers....

I assume you also can't get the LFOs to lock to MIDI clock?
Back to the shop then (save your patches first!!!!)...
