Hi,
In Songplay can you trigger Chordal Harmonies from the left hand side of the keyboard. I cant seem to get this to work.
I have tried in the songbook setting the harmoniser to global but the harmoniser is not triggered. Am I doing something wrong or is there no way to do this in songplay mode.
Thanks Dave

Dave you certainly can, so there must be something not quite right.
Are you playing in split mode?
And if so do you have the chord scanning area set to the lower?
If you are playing in whole keyboard mode, just make sure the chord scanning area is set to both.
Which harmoniser preset are you using?
And, just to make sure
the harmoniser is turned on?

Hi Dennis,
Thanks for the reply, I have got it to work I must have been doing something daft with the split points or scanning or possibly the auto talk setting or all three!. This is one complex keyboard isn't it? But great at the same time. I really would like a full midi implementation for this board though if you know where I can get one.
Cheers Dave

Hi Dave,
The only MIDI implementation is the one listed in the manual. Along with the other CC data. The CC being the principal method of communicating with the PA, rather than sysex. means you also have to lose a midi channel (it needs to designated a "control" channel) to do the "extra" stuff.
There is no sysex data available. Korg keep that stuff to themselves.
Whilst it is not a "bone of contention" it is something that has been noticed and commented on ever since the PA1 days.
