Edit combi while in sequencer mode - no sound!

I created an auto-song and recorded something. Now, I'd like to change or add a "program" to the combi that was used in the song. For some reason, when I select an unused track and try to assign a program to it, I get no sound whatsoever (from that track).

What am I doing wrong?

The midi track is probably turned off. Go to your Midi track sequencer settings and turn the track on.
