1. I upgraded it today to 2.0 expanded but directly from factory OS,
i didnt see what it even was, all of my U banks are empty, does it
mean they are only USER? Or there is more stuff from them?
Both Combi and Program.

2. I also downloaded OS1.20, can i just install the PCG i mean Combis
and Programs? I found out, i LOADed the PCM but they are nowhere to
be found in the RAM locations, the Sampling Info shows less RAM its
LOADed but they are not in the RAM locations in Sampling or Progam.

3. It comes with 64MB, can the 64 be removed and then added another 256MB?

Hi Nedim,

I'm no expert because my M3 hasn't even arrived yet, but I think I can help you a little: If you have not done so already, also join the forum (community) at www.karma-labs.com. There is a huge amount of advice avialable on the M3 and Karma. Some kety points:

You have to read the upgrade instructions carefully. In particular you have to run the upgrade v2 procedure twice otherwise all user banks will be empty.

Having started the Version 2 expanded upgrade, it is not possible to downgrade to an earlier OS. If you do attempt a downgrade you will get stuck. Stephen Kay from Karma Labs has helped a couple of people recover from this.

You need to fit an EXB-M256 board if you wish to load all the extra sounds and combis (3 x 64 k banks). It is a custom designed board only available from Korg, and costs approx $99.

There is an internal EXB-Radias card costing $299 which allows Synth sounds to be programmed up. If you like twiddling knobs there is also the full Radias-M that can be plugged in, costing $999.

There is an internal EXB-FW card costing $229. This provides a very fast Firewire interface with a PC and it enables the use of a free software plugin from Korg providing full DAW integration with the M3 and PC sequencers/ digital recorders etc.

There is a PC based "Karma Editor" available from Karma-Labs. Costing $169, this allows all the Karma arpeggios and sequences and drum tracks to be edited on a PC.

Best regards,
Rob

Well thats the reason i got one, not cuz i like it but i need it, i have big request
for Oriental and Balkan sounds on RAM, ROM and RADIAS, pretty soon a whole
set would be released, this time i'll try to use KARMA for our music too.
