I just got Korg LEgacy Analog collection and when trying to update the USB dongle with the license via the Syncrosoft License Control software the program refuse to connect to the internet. I tried authorizing the dongle on an XP PC and had the same issue the software refuses to make a connection to the internet.
This is the latest version (2 days old) you need to downlaod from the Syncrosoft website
http://www.syncrosoft.com/Support-78-11.html
Since this is happening both on the Mac an PC my guess is that there is a bug. However I cannot currently activate my license for the Analog collection.
Anybody got a clue?
cheers

Your computer and/or your modem/router is probably blocking the connection.
If you don't know how to configure these, try turning your computer and router firewalls of temporarily to do the connection, then turn it back on once the dongle is authorised.

Disabled teh firewall in both computers and on the modem router but still get the same message.
Syncrosoft License Control Center
Checking internet connection
after a while
Internet connection to license server could not be established.
Please check your internet connection
This is strange since upto now i NEVER had problems with accessing secure sites and downloading content, certifcates etc (with banks, goverment).
The software is just not making the connection to the internet.
This is realy frustrating. Since it is happening on both the Mac and XP Laptop it is indeed either my connection (doubtfull) or something with the software.
The Mac is running the latest OS X 10.5.5 and the XP is running on service pack 3.
I guess i could try and do this on my neighbours machine and see if this is the same there?
HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a good nights sleep and a fantastic Coldplay concert here in Antwerp does for you is wonderfull !!!!
Checked some settings in my router and flicked the correct switcht apparantly since the download worked as a dream
Thanks for the tip and EVERYBODY having the same issue it is indeed the firewall settings in the modem/router blocking this puppy.
cheers and keep on bleeping
