EMX .syx pattern exchange database

Post by paul_courville »

Can someone start an EMX .syx database for us to exchange EMX patterns?

 Sure there is... I am one out of several just on this forum.

So here's the deal, to be able to exchange patterns you either need to invest a long time in exporting patterns to sysx like I believe paul is talking about or there has to be a program written that will communicate to the machine via midi sysx to request it to dump a pattern and vise versa. Although a relatively simple task, to actually sit down and write this, at least in my eyes is more work then it's worth, at least for me (I have no interest in swapping patterns)
