Diego [OCT '08] - ClubFear

Post by Diego »

Hi!

That's my october entry: http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/224179/ClubFear.mp3
As you can see, from the title, it's a clubby version of some sort of fear and tension.
It's nothing special, but as always I have less time for produce nice music.
All done in Garage Band, to try it out as I like the loop concept.

Hope you'll like it,

regards

Hi Diego,

So glad you could post a finished tune :-) This one reminds me of a backdrop in a club - while people are collecting - very background atmospheric.

So why are you mAd iN iTaLy? Maybe you mean mAdE iN iTaLy?

Cheers,

Hi Diego!!!

Like this right off...It IS good as Art mentions, as a background fill for a club use deal.......

I also like the surprising rhythmic elements as they are used here....Sounds like house choice indeed...and sets a nice mood!

Great sounds...

Regards!! John (ellll)

I can't imagine how you throw these together quickly and it sounds so well thought out and each part leads nicely to the next. It is simple but sometimes less is more. This has a nice sound to it and does have a club feel but in a more artsy way. You don't bang us in the head with the beat like I usually do, but you gently carry us thru some nice loops and sounds.

This is a cool track Diego, nice and chilled out too.
The small runs and string parts give it interest too mixed in with the loops.
Nice one!

This is true chill. What really caught my attention was the quick pace at which things are coming in and out. Snippets of synths and percussion coming in for a few bars and then exiting as quickly as they came in give fantastic dynamics to this piece.

I thought the arp in the middle was a bit heavy of a sound, or maybe a little front dominant, but you did not dwell there long enough for it to become a factor.

Great job overall.

Hi to all, and sorry for the delay on my response.
Thanks a lot for all your kind comments, I must say that I love to read all your thoughts about our tunes, as I think that when we compose something we don't think nearly at the half of the other great things suggested by other users...
I'm very thankfull to George, JonSolo and all other contributors who have commented my song and other songs, as they are more usefull than any other review!

So this is Club Chill music. :) Cool groove and nice sounds. Don't you wish you had 10 clones of you so you could devote each one to specific things? One for school, one for work, one for music... sigh.

Keep up the good work. I'll be looking for more. :)
