saving pads

Post by milo »

hi all,

I have tried to save 4 pads and 4 assignbuttons for several time now, but xpro still can´t save them. I saved them as sts, current style and still when i start my xpro i get the factory pads and assigns. Both are locked, but can´t be saved. What am i doing wrong?

And also, after starting the xpro i get the first style right. But the 2nd STS doesn't give me the saved sounds, but when i press the 2nd STS i get the saved sounds. So who knows what am doing wrong?

You have to save it in performance 1-1 (this is the performance loaded after booting).

boot - make your settings - save performance

Saving Pads

Post by Charley Brown »

Hello Wittid:

Looks like I'm a step behind, or maybe two or three..

Can you explain the proceedure for saving a set of Pads in the Song Book which I would like to use different for each song?

I searched the manual but didn't find the section.

Thanks ~ Charley Brown

I have random question for you guys. It seems you all know how to create great styles using sounds from the keyboard.
I'm wondering if any of you know how to get a bass sound to give that vroom! sound (as in a riff) while playing live. I've tried to use the pitch bend for this which has not worked...I know some of the factory sounds are recorded with an after-effect of a bass slide but I waswondering how to do it live?!
