What are the main differences between the Mini-KP KAOSS Pad and KAOSSILATOR besides the $50 price difference? What can one do that the other cannot do? I have watched numerous youtube clips, but which model is most recommended? I am new to this so if you could give the basic outline it would be greatly appreciated. It will hopefully be used along with my EMX-1 Electribe and plan on having it help link songs together during my bands set with unique style. Is this even possible? The EMX-1 is used right now as playing various patterns in song mode that can eventually make the transition between songs using spontaneous and wild effects. Which do you think is better for me?

The KP3 is a better match to the EMX than the mini-KP. The KP3 sample pads are very complementary functions, plus you get effects. I have all of them, and I don't use the mini-KP much at all any more.

Yeah I second the motion...if you want to do real cool stuff with sound and seeing that you have a tribe I'd save up the money and get the KP3. You'll be much happier.
My mini KP is collecting dust and is looking like it might make back to it's original box and ready for e-bay, that is untill I founf out that there is an official case for the damn thing. Yes for $20 I can get a case that will hook up to the strap of my guitar yeeeeaaaah!!!!!!!!
