Defective ec5 pedal

Hello All
I just purchased a 2nd ec5 pedal for my px2pro already having one for my pa1xpro. When I went to hook it up I found out that the female socket on the pedal to be very sloppy and the cord will not stay in.At first I thought it was the cord so I tried my old cord only to find out that it was the new pedal with the problem. I,m sending it back for a replacement. I was wondering if anyone has had the same problem. By the way MERRY X-MAS to EVERYONE on the site!
